Tell us about your product and who your target audience is?

Path is a cloud-based approach to educational content management and designed specifically for lecture-based learning applications. Optimized to deliver media content from educational events, Path allows you to manage all of your content, such as conference recordings, recorded lectures from live and virtual meetings, as well as traditional e-learning presentations, in an easy-to-use, rapidly deployed, digital library that enhances learning for worldwide audiences.  Our target audience are events and learning professionals in the association and corporate audience.

What changes to your business have occurred since being part of the Innovation Zone’s Top Ten at ibtm world (formerly EIBTM)?

Since ibtm world 2015, we have changed our company name to Blue Sky eLearn and updated our Path suite of products to include Path LMS, Path eLibrary, Path eReg and Path eClinical.

Can you share your biggest success?

We are proud of our partnerships with some of the world’s largest providers in the meetings and associations industry, including MCI-Group, Naylor Association Solutions, PSAV and Freeman AV.

What advice can you provide to a company that wants to launch a product to the MICE industry?

Make sure you do your research on the meetings and events industry as the types of people and companies you will come across can vary greatly.  You need to make sure your product is something that the MICE industry will benefit from, and that it is something that they need, even if they do not know it yet.

What advice would you give to this year’s applicants to be successful? If you had the chance to do it again, what would you do differently?

Make sure you have a good understanding of the European MICE industry.  While we have been involved with the MICE industry for many years, the American MICE industry does differ. It is important to make sure that you are speaking the same MICE language when talking to prospects.

Outside of the Innovation Zone, what new things did you discover about the meetings industry at ibtm world?

We met some potential great partners and learned about other potential European events to attend.

How did ibtm world help overcome any challenges you were facing?

ibtm world gave us the opportunity to meet with potential clients and prospects who we may not have had the opportunity to meet with face-to-face had we not attended.

Summarise your Innovation Zone experience in 3 words.
