1. Saadiyat Beach, home of the St. Regis is also home to Hawksbill sea turtles, who nest each year on the nine kilometre beachfront. The turtles are listed as critically endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List and since 2010, some 650 eggs have hatched successfully on Saadiyat.
