On the final day of IBTM World 2019, John Volanthen took to our stage in Theatre 1 to deliver our Day 3 Keynote. He delivered a keynote on achieving success in a crisis, aided by his anecdotes from his experience of the Tham Luang cave rescue in Thailand in 2018 where he was the cave diver who first made contact with the football team.

In it, he also provides interesting and insightful tips on how to approach a stressful situation – things that can definitely be applied to an event planner’s day-to-day. We do have the 5th most stressful job in the world!
